Have a roaring time in the Lion City with high-octane action and heart-pumping activities.
Day 1: Break a sweat
Ride the waves at Singapore Wake Park
Spend your morning getting sun-kissed and riding the waves at Singapore’s first cable-ski park. Located by the beaches of East Coast Park, Singapore Wake Park features three cable-ski systems spread across a massive lagoon, with courses that cater to wakeboarders, water-skiing enthusiasts and action-seekers looking to try a new sport.
The park also features a range of obstacles—from double elbow pipes to rails and kickers—that will allow experienced veterans and talented newcomers to challenge themselves and show off their aerial moves. If you’re hoping to pick up wakeboarding for the first time, we recommend hopping on the park’s System 2.0, a beginner-friendly cable system that also caters to kids.
East Coast Park itself is home to a variety of action-packed opportunities, including an indoor laser tag stadium, kayak rentals and the Xtreme Skate Park for those looking to channel their inner pro skater.
Scale new heights at Climb Central
The gym boasts a variety of bouldering surfaces and a range of rock-climbing routes that vary vastly in difficulty. Newbies to the sport needn’t worry, as experienced trainers will run all participants through a safety briefing that covers getting your harness on, belaying and descending after conquering a route.
A quick tip for beginners—try to engage your core and leg muscles, instead of relying on upper body strength alone when attempting your first climb. If you’re climbing solo (or have trust issues!), the gym also features a number of auto-belay systems.
Get moving at BOUNCE
If your only memory of getting on a trampoline is from your childhood, you should certainly spend the afternoon at BOUNCE. This indoor trampoline park is an urban playground for the young and the young at heart.
There’re tons of trampoline-based activities to try, ranging from dodge ball to freestyle areas to work on your somersaults and pike jumps. If you’ve always dreamt of dunking like an NBA superstar, be sure to check out their Slam Dunk Area, which features two hoops that’ll let you show off your moves.
Day 2: Soar on adrenaline
Soar through the air at iFly Singapore
Take a morning cable car ride to Sentosa, and get in the mood for the day’s aerial-themed activities. Your first pit-stop at iFly Singapore—the world’s largest wind tunnel for indoor skydiving—will have you living out your fantasies of being Superman.
The wind tunnel’s 18-feet-tall acrylic glass walls will allow you an untrammelled view of the South China Sea, as you ride winds that reach over 230 kilometres per hour. Fret not if you’re a first-timer, as iFly’s seasoned instructors will be there to guide you through the entire process.
Peak Performances at Mega Adventure – Singapore
There’s nothing quite like seeing the world from a new perspective, especially if that perspective is 450 metres up in the air. Mega Adventure – Singapore combines high-octane thrills, daredevil challenges and non-stop fun.
The star attraction here is undoubtedly the park’s MegaZip, a flying fox that will let you reach speeds of over 60 kilometres per hour and engage in a bout of friendly competition with your mates, as you soar from Imbiah Hill to the pristine sands of Siloso Beach.
The rest of the park’s offerings are no slouches in the adrenaline department either, and include the formidable MegaClimb—a highropes adventure course—and the 15-metre MegaDrop, which challenges visitors to overcome their fear of heights.
Push your limits at AJ Hackett Sentosa
Spend the rest of the afternoon testing your fortitude with daredevil thrills at AJ Hackett Sentosa.
The site features a range of high-flying activities, including a 47-metre-high bungee jump, a vertigo-inducing giant swing, and a towering sky bridge. The latter features a Glass Cube which gives visitors the illusion of walking on air—an undertaking that’s certainly not for the faint at heart.
Day 3: Family Fun
Adventure Cove Waterpark™
A perfect pit-stop for travellers visiting Singapore with their loved ones, Adventure Cove Waterpark™ offers thrills, spills and a splashing good time for the entire family. This aquatic amusement park boasts various water activities, including tubing, snorkelling and thrilling rides.
Pit yourself against friends and family on the Duelling Race, speed down the Pipeline Plunge water chute and blast off with the Riptide Rocket, Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster. To foster a sense of adventure in your children, embark on a thrilling challenge at the Splashworks obstacle course.
Adventure Cove Waterpark™ is also home to over 20,000 tropical fish, which populate various attractions, including Ray Bay and Adventure River. Get up close with sharks and manta rays, and walk on the wild side with your little ones.
Wave House Sentosa
Spend the rest of the day at Wave House Sentosa, a 70,000-square-feet surfer paradise that houses a pool, wave rides and a gnarly surf shop.
If your kids are just getting their feet wet when it comes to surfing and flowriding, we suggest purchasing tickets for the Double Flowrider®—it’s the easier of the two surfing options at this establishment, with wave speeds peaking at 32 kilometres per hour.
Those looking to challenge themselves should get their surfing fix on The Flowbarrel®, which replicates the barrelling waves of other international surf destinations.
