When it came to rewarding their top-performing sales leaders, Nu Skin Korea set its sights on Singapore for an unforgettable experience. In May 2024, Nu Skin Korea, the Korean branch of Nu Skin Enterprises, a global beauty and wellness company, hosted its annual incentive trip in Singapore, gathering 500 of its top-performing sales leaders to celebrate their achievements over the past year.

Delegates arrived in two waves, with the first group visiting from 19 to 23 May and the second from 20 to 24 May. Over the 5-day, 4-night trip, they enjoyed tours to local attractions and cultural neighbourhoods, insightful business seminars, and a glamorous James Bond-themed Gala Dinner at Shangri-La Singapore. A highlight was the private viewing of Garden Rhapsody, a dazzling light and sound show at Gardens by the Bay, following a memorable dinner at the Flower Field Hall.

Nu Skin Korea's decision to return to Singapore for their Success Trip, having previously hosted their 2016 edition here, underscores the country’s appeal as a premier destination for MICE events. Nu Skin Korea's Director of Sales, MyungEun Lee, cites Singapore's prime location and accessibility, diverse attractions, and vibrant multicultural food scene as key reasons for their choice.

“Organising the Nu Skin Korea Success Trip in Singapore was truly rewarding and seamless. Collaborating with Singapore Tourism Board (STB), amazing venues, and our hotel, Shangri-La, made planning easy,” said Ms Lee, Nu Skin Korea Director, one of the trip organisers. She expressed appreciation for STB’s support, which enabled organisers to minimise their event footprint through sustainability measures such as recycling delegate badges and using QR codes for information sharing to reduce paper waste.

A well-loved venue was Gardens by the Bay, which served as a captivating backdrop for an especially memorable night. After a sumptuous buffet dinner at the Flower Field Hall, accompanied by melodious tunes from a local live string quartet, delegates enjoyed a private guided tour of the Flower Dome. Next was a specially arranged viewing of the Garden Rhapsody show, where the iconic Supertrees came alive with a mesmerising display of light, sound and visual projections that left the delegates in awe.

Bonding Over Adventures 

No trip to Singapore would be complete without immersing in the city's diverse leisure attractions. Delegates were free to choose between three different tour programmes that best suited their interests, from exploring the city’s famous landmarks and cultural sites to embarking on thrill-seeking adventures and immersing in nature’s wonders.

The city tour included stops at the iconic Merlion Park and the vibrant cultural neighbourhood of Kampong Gelam where delegates learned about the rich heritage of the Sultan Mosque and admired colourful murals at Haji Lane. The group also indulged in retail therapy at Bugis Street and Orchard Road, and appreciated artistic masterpieces at National Gallery Singapore.

For thrill-seekers, the Universal Studios Singapore tour was a must-do. From adrenaline-pumping rides to immersive 4D movie experiences and stunt shows, the theme park delivered an unforgettable day filled with pure entertainment.

The third tour option was tailor-made for nature lovers. It featured a visit to two popular attractions in Singapore: River Wonders, Asia's first and only river-themed wildlife park, and Jewel Changi Airport, home to the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. At Jewel’s Canopy Park, a recreational wonderland nestled in a lush indoor garden, delegates strolled along creative garden trails, glided down giant Discovery Slides, and bounced on Sky Nets suspended high above the foliage.

A Night of Glitz and Glamour

Jihun Cho, President of Nu Skin Korea, kicked off the evening’s programme with a business seminar, sharing the company’s vision and goals, and announcing the launch of the new MYND360™ product in Korea. Following that, various spokespersons presented the scientific findings and benefits of Nu Skin products, including clinical studies on the new product line. Information on the Nu Skin affiliate programme and training on upcoming products were also provided, equipping delegates to drive future sales success.

Two top-performing sales leaders then took the stage to share their success stories, inspiring others with their achievements. Topping off the evening was a “Best Dressed” award ceremony and group games, adding fun and laughter to the event.

Setting the Standard for Global Events

Delegates returned home with stronger bonds with the Nu Skin community and deep impressions of their time in Singapore. The trip's success highlights the city's ability to host impactful incentive travel events, where its world-class infrastructure and unique tourism offerings fuel exceptional experiences and lasting connections.
