Using SingapoRediscovers Vouchers

If you've just registered your Singpass account, please try re-accessing the SingapoRediscovers Vouchers Portal the next day to check your digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers balance, as it takes about 24 hours for the system to reflect your details. If you had observed suspicious transactions that were not made by you on the Portal, please lodge a police report. Remember not to share your Singpass details with anyone.

The digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers must be used by 31 December 2021. The products purchased with the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers must also be used by 31 December 2021.

The digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers will be provided in denominations of $10. You can decide on the amount of digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers you want to use for each purchase.

The digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers must be used for eligible purchases between 1 December 2020 and 31 December 2021. The purchased products must also be used within the same validity period.

No minimum spend is required to use the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers. However, the digital Vouchers are in denominations of S$10. If your purchase costs less than S$10, there will be no refunds.

You will also need to make payment for any excess value not covered by the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers, by using credit or debit cards online. You can also use cash or NETS (if available) at physical touchpoints provided by the authorised booking partners.

For example, if an attraction ticket is S$19 and you use S$10 worth of digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to pay for it, you would have to top up the remaining amount of S$9. Alternatively, you can use S$20 worth of digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to pay for the ticket, but you will not be refunded the S$1 difference.

To change the amount on your SingapoRediscovers Vouchers code, please wait for the countdown timer (about 10 minutes) to expire.

You can then generate a new code and use it on the authorised booking partner’s website to check-out your items.

Please note that your digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers will not be deducted when the code is generated. Vouchers will only be deducted when you successfully complete your purchase on the authorised booking partner's website.

The digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers cannot be transferred to other individuals as they are tied to your Singpass account and meant for personal use.

Any transfer of products bought using the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers are governed by the terms and conditions of the respective merchants. Using SingapoRediscovers Vouchers On Child/Youth Tickets

Every Singapore Citizen aged 18 and above in 2020 is entitled to purchase up to six subsidised child/youth tickets, for any family member who is under the age of 18. This means that parents, grandparents, other relatives and legal guardians can purchase subsidised tickets for their children, grandchildren, wards, and so on.

No. Every Singapore Citizen aged 18 and above in 2020 is entitled to purchase up to six subsidised child/youth tickets, if they have at least one family member who is under 18.

Singapore Citizens aged 18 and above will be able to purchase subsidised child/youth tickets to minors that they have familial ties with. These minors do not need to be Singapore Citizens.

SingapoRediscovers Vouchers users are required to declare their familial relationship to family members under the age of 18 to activate the child/youth subsidy.

Each child/youth ticket that you purchase will get a $10 subsidy. You can only purchase up to six subsidised child/youth tickets throughout the scheme's validity period (i.e. 1 December 2020 - 31 December 2021). Do note that once you have used up all your digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers, you will not be able to buy any subsidised child/youth tickets.

The $10 child/youth subsidy can be applied on attractions and tour products which offer a child/youth price. For packages, please check the terms and conditions of the respective Authorised Booking Partners (i.e. Changi Recommends, GlobalTix, Klook, Traveloka, Trip.com) for use of child/youth subsidies.

No. The digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers can also be used to offset the cost for child/youth tickets (e.g. if each ticket costs more than $10 or if all six child/youth tickets subsidies are used up).

1. Have your Singpass ready and visit the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers Portal
2. Click on the button "Do you wish to buy child/youth tickets for family members under 18 years of age?". You can then indicate your family member's NRIC/Birth Certificate/FIN number and declare their familial relationship with you.

4. A $10 subsidy for each child/youth ticket will be automatically applied when you use the digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers for attractions and tours.

Note: Your $10 child/youth subsidies are automatically applied only after you paste the Voucher code. This means that you may actually need fewer vouchers to complete your purchase.

Example

Item Value
(S$)
2 adult + 2 child/youth tickets    50
Child/youth ticket subsidy of $10
per ticket
(20)
Nett amount payable 30

Do note that if you wish to purchase any subsidised child/youth ticket, you must redeem at least $10 digital SingapoRediscovers Vouchers together with it.
