Overview

With the aim of continuously raising the bar for the insurance industry, the International Insurance Culture Festival (ICMF) and Ten Million Club Forum brings together global insurance professionals to foster the exchange of knowledge and insights, industry development experience and culture of different markets, as well as celebrate the success of insurance professionals across Asia.

Singapore: the ideal destination

For the first time, the ICMF and Ten Million Club Forum 2025 was held in Singapore, underscoring ICMF’s internationalisation path since the inaugural event launched in Zhengzhou, China in 2018. The event, in its third edition, was organised by the China Millions Forum, and held at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands from 28-30 April 2025. It was attended by over 500 participants from across 11 countries and regions.

Pam Sam Yee, Organising Chairperson of the 3rd ICMF and Ten Million Club Forum 2025, pointed out how Singapore was the “perfect destination for our event” to increase industry knowledge exchange, deepen meaningful connections and networks to drive the insurance industry forward.

“Singapore is a top financial hub with a highly developed insurance sector driven by strong life, health and wealth protection demand. With a vibrant business environment and strategic location in Asia-Pacific, Singapore is also home to many international insurance groups and talents,” Pam said.

“Singapore offers world-class MICE facilities, including a venue like the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, which provide top notch amenities suitable for large-scale events,” he added.

Inspiring and advancing insurance professionals

Under the theme of “Vision and Perspective”, the ICMF 2025 drew more than 500 participants from 11 countries and regions covering Greater China, Southeast Asia and beyond. The attendees included top-performing insurance professionals, industry and thought leaders including Dr. Mary Chen Ming Li, Conference Chairperson of ICMF 2024.

Throughout the three-day event, delegates heard from distinguished speakers over 21 sessions on the most crucial developments and industry trends, through thematic panels and workshops covering leadership, agency transformation and digitalisation in insurance.

Million Dollar Round Table’s Top of the Table members like Tony Gordon, Donald White and Dr. Boonchai Tohsuwanwanich shared accounts of their professional journeys, as well as perspectives of trends shaping the insurance industry’s future, which offered attendees inspiration to strive for business excellence and professional legacy.

“My greatest goal here is to have people take the insights that we give them and process them, and then implement them into their business and become even greater producers, whether it's in China, whether it's in Thailand, whether it's in Singapore, whether it's in Vietnam,” said Donald White, Author and Speaker, and Founder of Treasure Coast Financial.

Best practices from Singapore and honouring the best

Attendees had the opportunity to visit Singapore-based leading insurers including AIA, Prudential and China Life, where they gained first-hand exposure to best practices in talent development, productivity strategies, and sales culture. These sessions enabled knowledge exchange across markets and for delegates to strengthen their regional networks.

The Singapore edition of the ICMF also honoured the high achievers in the industry in the signature Ten Million Club Awards Ceremony. This recognition platform would serve to motivate professionals to scale new heights through peer benchmarking amid a culture of performance and aspiration.

Doing good beyond insurance

As much as the event centred on promoting and advancing insurance industry’s culture and development, it was also committed to giving back to society. To that end, the ICMF and Ten Million Club Forum 2025 partnered with Singaporean social enterprise ExtraOrdinary People in fundraising efforts, which were channelled towards supporting individuals with special needs in Singapore.

Singapore: regional growth hub and more

The ICMF and Ten Million Club Forum 2025 successfully demonstrated that Singapore, is the ideal destination to host financial and insurance industry events. Not only is it a leading international financial and insurance hub underpinned by business-friendly policies, state-of-the-art infrastructure and connectivity with the world. The city-state also sits strategically at the heart of Asia Pacific, where an estimated US$5.8 trillion of assets¹ is expected to change hands from the older to younger generations of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families in the region between 2023 and 2030.

“Singapore has good transportation, dining scene and it is very easy to come to Singapore. This is the centre of world-class events for the insurance industry,” said Dr. Boonchai Tohsuwanwanich, Executive District Director, AIA Thailand, a speaker and delegate at the ICMF 2025.
