Army Museum of Singapore Army Museum of Singapore
The Army Museum of Singapore (ARMS) was officially opened by Prime Minister on 27 Sep 2007. ARMS will present the story of our Army, chronicling its development from its formative years to the present.

Opening Hours: 10am - 6pm (Tuesdays – Sundays). Closed on Mondays. Getting There: By Car/Taxi: A quick 30-minute drive from the city, the PIE and turn off at exit no. 40 or AYE exit no. 20.
By MRT & Bus: Take SBS Bus no. 193 or 182 from Boon Lay MRT Station. Click here to view MRT route map.

Art Retreat Museum Art Retreat Museum
Founded by Indonesian collector Kwee Swie Teng in 2003, Art Retreat is Singapore’s first private museum with a collection of modern Asian and European art. It is dedicated to the appreciation and collecting of art through exhibition, education and research.

Opening Hours: 11 am to 6pm daily. Closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. Getting There: The nearest MRT stations are Eunos & Paya Lebar Stations. Click here to view MRT route map.

Asian Civilisations Museum Asian Civilisations Museum
As its name suggests, the Asian Civilisations Museum focuses on the heritage of Asian cultures. The first wing (ACM I), located at Armenian Street, is a meticulously restored neo-classical building dating back to 1910.

Opening Hours : Mon 1pm to 7pm; Tue to Sun 9am to 7pm; late night opening on Friday, free admission from 6pm to 9pm. Getting There: ACM I - From City Hall MRT Station (NS25/EW13), walk towards Stamford Road and turn into Armenian Street. Click here to view MRT route map. ACM II - From City Hall MRT Station (NS25/EW13), walk along St Andrew’s Road, past St Andrew’s Cathedral, City Hall and Supreme Court. Walk into Old Parliament Lane. ACM II is on the left after The Arts House.
Changi Chapel & Museum Changi Chapel & Museum
A beacon of hope for the hopeless. The Changi Chapel, housed within the open-air courtyard of the Museum, is a symbolic replica of the many chapels built during the Japanese Occupation.

Open: 9.30am to 4.30pm (daily unless otherwise advised). Getting There: Take SBS Transit bus 2 from Tanah Merah MRT station (EW4). Alight at the bus stop right in front of Changi Chapel and Museum (after Changi Women's Prison/Drug Rehabilitation Centre). Click here to view MRT route map.
Chinatown Heritage Centre Chinatown Heritage Centre
Life of the ethnic Chinese in early Singapore was simple and almost everyone lived in rented cubicles of shophouses, which were often overcrowded and disease-stricken.

Open:
9am - 8pm (Mon-Thu), 9am - 9pm (Fri-Sun). Last Admission is one hour before closure. Getting There: First take the MRT to City Hall Station (EW13/NS25) and then transfer to Chinatown Station (NE4) or take bus service no. 61, 80, 197 from North Bridge Road. Click here to view MRT route map.
