With thrill rides, play areas, museums, and plenty of hotel and dining options, Sentosa is a stomping ground for kids and adults alike. We suss out where best to have fun in the sun with the whole clan in Sentosa.

Port of Lost Wonder
Port of Lost Wonder

It’s all aboard at Singapore’s first kids’ club by the beach, the Port of Lost Wonder. Here, your little ones can let out their inner explorers at the Pirate Ship — take your positions and fire those water guns. They’ll also get to observe and learn at Curiosity Island, where they can try their hand at growing plants, and get up close and personal with some loveable animal friends. Then, tuck into savoury treats such as pastas and pizzas, as well as drool-worthy desserts at Port Belly — the restaurant also offers picnic basket sets.

The Port of Lost Wonder is located at Palawan Beach, near the Beach Car Park.
Opening hours: 10am-6.30pm daily. Tickets start from SGD 10.

S.E.A Aquarium™
SEA Aquarium

Nothing incites wonder quite like an 8.3-metre-tall aquarium — we’re talking about the Open Ocean exhibit that’s the centrepiece of the S.E.A Aquarium™. Head to one of the world’s largest aquariums to marvel at over 800 species of marine life. Alternatively, learn more about these creatures and their habitats through an educational guided tour. Kids are in for an eye-opening experience with the Ocean Dreams sleepover, where they can indulge in an overnight immersive experience in front of the Open Ocean exhibit.

The S.E.A Aquarium™ is located at 8 Sentosa Gateway.
Opening hours: 10am-7pm daily. Tickets start from SGD 20/child and SGD 30/adult.

Trick Eye Museum

The Trick Eye Museum promises an experience that’s a far cry from stiff, quiet galleries. The masterpieces on display here are all optical illusions, with majority of the artworks specially created for Singapore and not seen in other Trick Eye Museums worldwide. Get your cameras ready, too — a trip to this museum is bound to be rife with photo-op moments as you strike a pose with the many artworks that are interweaved with optical illusions.

The Trick Eye Museum is located at #01-43/44 Resorts World Sentosa, 26 Sentosa Gateway.
Opening hours: 10am-9pm daily. Tickets start from SGD 20/child and SGD 25/adult.

Bring the little ones for a unique indoor theme park experience at KidZania, where they can try their hand at their future careers of choice through role-play games — whether they want to be pilots, runway models or candy shop owners. Budding pilots can experience flying a plane through a simulation at the Aviation Academy, while doctors-to-be can play paramedic at the kid-sized hospital.

Get innovative and imaginative at MOSH!, a digital media edutainment facility where kids can exercise their creativity with various interactive exhibits and installations.

Watch your doodles come alive with state-of-the-art interactive technology, or play a game of hide-and-seek with animated characters on MOSH!’s multi-touch detection displays.

Skyline Luge Sentosa
Skyline Luge Sentosa

Hop on the Skyline Luge Sentosa for a unique go-karting experience, but not before you and the kids take the Skyride chairlift to the top of the Luge track, where a stunning view of Sentosa awaits. Once you’ve reached the top, board your Luge and navigate over 600 metres worth of trails at whatever speed you fancy — go daringly fast or cruise along at a leisurely pace.

Take note that children must be at least 85cm tall to be able to ride on the Skyride with an adult, and at least 6 years old and 110cm tall to ride the Luge alone. Fret not, kids who don’t meet that requirement won’t have to miss out, they can ride the Luge in tandem with an adult (purchase a child doubling ticket at just SGD 3).

Skyline Luge Sentosa is located at 45 Siloso Beach Walk, between Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Beach.
Opening hours: 10am till late daily. Tickets start from SGD 18.
