Bright new days that will set your heart aglow await you in Singapore. From yoga sessions in the heart of our bustling city to idyllic forays into our lush tropical landscape, you’re bound to experience a newfound summer of mind, body and spirit.

Wellness is a lifelong journey, and the next step awaits you in The Lion City.

Day 1
Shot of Siloso Beach at Sentosa Island, Singapore

Begin your wellness journey in Singapore by checking in to Oasia Resort Sentosa. Located on the sunny island resort of Sentosa, this wellness-focused hotel boasts a range of stellar amenities for guests looking to rejuvenate their mind and body.

The hotel’s Oasia Spa boasts a range of stellar wellness treatments and facilities, such as aa meditation lounge that employs state of the art technology to simulate the traditional Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), cryotherapy facials and a range of massage packages.

Hotel guests looking to get active will also find a range of wellness activities to engage in, from yoga and sunrise qigong to tea appreciation sessions.

Sentosa is home to beaches that boast white sands and crystal-clear waters—the perfect destination for a lazy afternoon. Spread out your towel and sunbathe on Siloso Beach, or grab a beach volleyball if you’re looking to work up a sweat.

If you’re looking for an aquatic adventure to while away the rest of the late afternoon, make a beeline for Ola Beach Club. This Hawaiian-themed destination offers a range of water sports for fitness enthusiasts, from kayaking to stand-up paddling.

Alternatively, make a journey beneath the waves with a visit to the S.E.A. Aquarium. “It’s not just a beautiful aquarium, but also amazingly tranquil, peaceful and calming,” Wellness ambassador and part-time model Ong Bee Yan shares. “I recently visited with my husband and son, and was truly awed by the expanse of the aquarium, with over 1,000 species of marine animals in 45 different habitats.”

Day 2
A family strolling along Henderson Waves

Start your second day with a sunrise stroll along the iconic Henderson Waves. Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge stands at 36 metres above the ground, soaring above the treeline of Mount Faber Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park.

Whether you’re looking to jog or jaunt, you’re bound to be treated to a spectacular view, as the sun rises over the treetops of southern Singapore.

Next, embark on a journey through nature in the heartlands, with a jaunt through Jurong Lake Gardens. Take a stroll along Neram Streams, romp in the open fields of the Grassland, as you keep an eye out for the otters and grey herons that make their home here.

Spend the evening supercharging your body with a session at Skyline Aqua. Done on the back of floating exercise mats, this innovative workout will have you engaging your core and working your cardio with 30-minute yoga and High Intensity Interval Training sessions.

Alternatively, put some pep in your step at BBOUNCE, a studio that specialises in exercises that incorporate the use of a rebounder (also known as a mini-trampoline). Done to the rhythm of heart-thumping pop tunes, this intense workout burns twice as many calories as running, and will have you glowing with a well-deserved endorphin rush.

Day 3
Yoga studio in Trapeze Rec Club

Located off the coast of Singapore, Pulau Ubin is a paradise of myriad ecosystems and thriving wildlife. Accessible via bumboat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, this island sanctuary is home to a range of natural landscapes, from rocky beaches and granite quarries to coastal forests and mangroves.

“Pulau Ubin not only has rustic kampong (traditional village) settings, but also fascinating wildlife,” enthuses international award-winning wildlife photographer C.S. Ling. “You’ll find Oriental Pied Hornbills, wild boars, macaques and perhaps even the prehistoric Horseshoe Crabs!”

While the island’s myriad charms can be experienced on foot or the back of a bicycle, we suggest signing up for the Mangrove Kayaking Adventure by Asian Detours. Embark on a four-hour excursion down the scenic Pulau Ubin coastline, and through a tropical habitat teeming with wildlife.

Alternatively, spend your day unwinding at the Southern Islands. St John’s Island boasts a variety of fishing spots and wide-open green spaces that make for the perfect picnic spot. If you’re up for a trek, Lazarus Island—located just across a walkable causeway— is home to white beaches and a beautiful lagoon.

Devote the rest of the day to rejuvenating your mind and uplifting your spirits with a sound healing session at Jyan Yoga Studio. This mindfulness class employs Tibetan singing bowls to focus the mind and soothe the stress of everyday worries.

Experienced yoga practitioners will also be able to find a variety of specialised classes to elevate their practice, from dynamic Vinyasa classes to gentle Yin yoga sessions.

End your day on a high note for your health, with a workout session at Trapeze Rec Club. Located in a beautifully-restored heritage shophouse, this wellness club is your one-stop destination for holistic health and wellbeing.

Visitors will find a yoga studio, gymnasium, sauna and cold plunge across the club’s four floors, with a variety of drop-in sessions for a range of different classes.

Deepen your connection between mind and body with a Hatha Yoga class, amp up your strength and endurance with a bodyweight fitness session. The space is also home to a range of experts who you can visit for specialised services like mental wellbeing sessions and mobility screenings.

For old-school remedies that’ll have you feeling brand new, drop by Eu Yan Sang. This beloved local brand specialises in a range of traditional Chinese medicine, tonics and ointments, from nourishing drinks made from bird’s nest and goji berries to ginseng and herbal jellies.
