From rollercoaster rides to Southeast Asia’s steepest zipline, keep up with Kyra Poh as she takes you on adventures across the island.

1 Upside Motion
Make your way over to Upside Motion. The studio offers Pilates, Barre and Aerial Classes for all fitness levels. An enthusiast who experiments in various sports, Kyra has practised aerial yoga as a way to enhance her indoor skydiving routines: “For [aerial yoga] you’re suspended in the air. It helped me to learn how to stretch when I’m above the ground.”

2 Golden Spoon Seafood
For lunch, have a dish that Kyra loves, crab bee hoon (rice vermicelli). This claypot dish consists of rice noodles, spicy milk broth and fresh Sri Lankan crab, and De Golden Spoon Seafood in Tiong Bahru does an excellent version. Other crowd favourites include their deep-fried oyster rolls and cereal tofu in pumpkin sauce.

3 Sentosa Island
Now that you’ve had your fill, head south and hop on a tram over to Sentosa . A military base up until the 1970s, Sentosa has been transformed into a holiday resort filled with adventure, and is home to Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore first integrated resort.
Spend the rest of your morning at Mega Adventure Park – Singapore. As a competitor who thrives on new challenges, it’s no surprise that Kyra feels at home in this adventure park, which has been designed to push participants beyond their comfort zones. Located at the peak of Imbiah Hill, this adventure park operates a whole suite of aerial adventure activities, and is home to the steepest zip-line in Southeast Asia. “Sentosa’s my playground,” Kyra shares.
Alternatively, take a page from Kyra’s playbook and drop by iFly Singapore, where the young champ trains to hone her indoor skydiving skills. This (literally) breath-taking attraction simulates free-fall conditions in a five-storey high tunnel that’ll suspend you in mid-air, as you soar, swirl and somersault.
If you need to take a short break and catch your breath from aerial adventures, Kyra recommends Madame Tussauds Singapore, home to waxworks of notable political icons, Hollywood celebrities and sports superstars.
Other immersive attractions at Madame Tussauds Singapore include Asia’s first-ever 4D Marvel film— featuring beloved superheroes like Captain Marvel and Black Panther—and a K-Wave Zone that evolves every three months, with figurines of K-pop stars like Lee Min Ho.

4 Universal Studios Singapore
“I’ve always enjoyed rollercoasters and I’m a bit of a daredevil,” Kyra confesses. The young champ has had a soft spot for rollercoasters since she was a child, and it was a childhood rollercoaster ride that influenced her decision to take up indoor skydiving. Located on Sentosa, Universal Studios Singapore’s rides, shows and attractions make it a perfect spot for thrill-seekers.
One of the theme park’s most popular (or infamous) rides, Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON, consists of the world’s tallest pair of dueling rollercoasters, reaching 42.7 metres at its highest point.
Both rollercoasters reach up to 90 kilometres per hour, providing an exhilarating experience for even the bravest of daredevils.

5 Ponggol Nasi Lemak
Finish off the day with Kyra’s favourite dish: nasi lemak (fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf, accompanied with an array of side dishes like omelette, fried fish and anchovies).
Ponggol Nasi Lemak is one of the most popular nasi lemak stalls in Singapore, and is known for its large variety of dishes. You won’t go wrong with the traditional combination of ikan bilis (dried anchovies), a hard-boiled egg, and a chicken wing. “The ingredients are very crispy, it’s fragrant and not too oily.” Kyra enthuses.
