Sustainable event planning starts before delegates arrive. Singapore Airlines and Scoot, connecting over 130 destinations worldwide, have pledged to replace 5% of their fuel with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by 2030. Changi Airport complements this with energy-efficient design and a commitment to Zero Carbon Growth until 2030.
Once on the ground, delegates can navigate Singapore easily and sustainably. Singapore's reliable public transport network spans the entire island, and through the Singapore MICE Advantage Programme (SMAP), eligible organisers can purchase discounted EZ-Link cards for delegates. Ride-hailing and car-sharing services offer additional eco-friendly options for point-to-point travel.
Looking ahead, Singapore is committed to cleaner transport at scale — half of all public buses and taxis will be electric by 2030, with all public buses transitioning off diesel by 2040.
