Through the Business Events in Singapore (BEiS) scheme, SECB offers customised support such as help in securing venues, introductions with leading government agencies and business partners, as well as marketing and publicity support. Upon meeting the stringent evaluation criteria and deliverables, eligible companies will receive funding support through the scheme amounting to a certain percentage of qualifying costs. Funding is granted based on the scope and merits of the project.
Businesses / companies / associations in the Meeting, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) sector may apply for the scheme. Events will be considered based on several factors including its content, brand and delegate profile (foreign visitorship).
Eligible companies will receive funding support that amounts to a certain percentage of qualifying costs. Qualifying costs include costs related to third-party professional services, content development, marketing and bidding activities.
Funding is granted based on the scope and merits of the project and through a highly competitive evaluation process.
Grants are on a reimbursement basis.
Upon fulfilling the agreed project's deliverables, applicants are required to submit third-party audited documents on qualifying costs for the disbursement of grants.
