JAAN

If you’re hankering for British fare with a twist, consider making a reservation at JAAN. The brainchild of chef Kirk Westaway, this intimate, 40-seat restaurant elevates and reinvents British fare with seasonal produce and culinary brilliance.

Visitors to this restaurant can expect to have their taste-buds piqued by dishes like Cornish Seabass with caviar and herb sauce, fish and chips in an ale-infused batter, and roasted langoustine with potatoes from Devon county in England.

KOMA

Just walking into KOMA will make you feel like royalty in a Japanese historical romance. From its magnificent torii (gateway to a Shinto shrine)-inspired entrance to the 2.5-metre-high bell in the middle of its dining room, this establishment’s dramatic ambience is bound to make a lasting impression.

The restaurant’s menu—created by executive chef Kunihiro Moroi—features a range of Japanese classics, ranging from sushi and sashimi to unagi (freshwater eel) with truffles. Be sure to swig a cup or two of sake after your meal—the establishment’s bar features over 30 varieties of this classic alcohol from all over Japan.

ODETTE
Odette Heirloom Beetroot Variation

Helmed by chef-owner and co-owner Julien Royer, three-Michelin-starred Odette serves up a modern take on French fare that’s inspired by the chef’s childhood and family background.

Born into a family of farmers in France, chef Julien’s culinary inspiration fuses his love for both seasonality and the hallmarks of Gallic gastronomy.  The dishes you’ll find here are made with carefully-selected ingredients and presented exquisitely, with specialities like pepper-crusted pigeon with black garlic and rosemary smoked organic egg.

Reservations can be made up to two months in advance, so do book a table early if you’re planning to dine here.

PRELUDIO

Imagination and contemporary dining come together at Preludio by chef Fernando Arévalo. This ever-evolving restaurant menu evolves every 10 to 15 months, with dishes inspired by themes like ‘monochrome’ and ‘time’.

‘Two roads’—the restaurant’s current theme—invites diners to explore two distinct menus named ‘Capture’ and ‘Release’. Sample a range of tantalizing contemporary dishes such as chitarre pasta with iberico ham and blue lobster, monkfish with paprika and broccolini or foie gras with white chocolate, blueberry vinegar and passionfruit.

UNA
Silver chandeliers decorate the space where diners enjoy Spanish cuisine

Savour the diverse flavours of Spanish cuisine at UNA. Located on the second floor of the charming Alkaff Mansion and amidst the greenery of Telok Blangah Park, the restaurant specialises in dishes from Northern Spain.

Dark-hued timber and a gorgeous silver chandelier lend the space a décor that’s both elegant and intimate. Diners can expect to whet their appetite on a range of classics like jámon (dry-cured ham), Atlantic cod fish with chorizo breadcrumbs and wagyu prime rib with piquillo pepper and sea salt.
