Escape to Singapore for a romantic getaway with your loved one and indulge in activities where you can enjoy each other’s company, savour a delicious dinner date and check out unique boutique hotels to spice up your vacation.

From picnics to sunsets
Get a respite from your packed holiday schedule with a good old-fashioned date like a stroll in the park where you can spend hours indulging in each other’s company and having great conversation. What’s great about Singapore is that parks are so conveniently close to the city that it won’t take you long to get to your destination.
Change copy to dial up the concentration equity a little. Reason being, there are plenty of parks in Malaysia that they could do this in. What differentiates us from them is that parks are within close proximity to key experiences to offer them a respite from their packed schedules.
One fun spot to head to is Mount Faber Park, where you can take in panoramic views of the city and Sentosa. You can even hop on the cable car for a joyride to Sentosa and back. There are also a number of bars and restaurants on Mount Faber for refreshments and to rest your legs.
From Mount Faber Park, walk over to the 36m high Henderson Waves bridge, the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It is part of the 5km Southern Ridges walking trail, which is lushly populated with tropical flora and fauna. The undulating wave-shaped bridge is a sight to behold - and take plenty of photographs at - so scope out a quiet spot on the bridge to admire the changing colours of the sunset for a memorable end to your day.
Another quaint idea is to go on a movie date at a drive-in cinema. Movie Mob is a free outdoor drive-in movie screening concept that organises showings at Marina Bay. With screenings ranging from the latest blockbusters such as the Harry Potter series, do check out the schedule to see if anything strikes your interest.
Table for two
Singapore has a well-deserved reputation as a capital of gastronomy, so show your significant other the best that the country has to offer at these romantic establishments.
Spoil her silly with a delicious French meal and impeccable service at Brasserie Les Saveurs, located at the luxurious St Regis Singapore. With grand floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the hotel’s beautiful pool, this is one culinary experience that you won’t forget.
Alternatively, The White Rabbit is a modern European restaurant housed in a beautifully-restored chapel in the popular food and entertainment enclave of Dempsey. With a well-curated cocktail list to go with the food, you’re guaranteed an excellent night with your significant other.
For a once-in-a-lifetime meal, why not dine in the sky onboard the Singapore Cable Car with Sky Dining On Cloud 9. The cable car will be converted into a dining capsule for two of you where you can savour a four-course meal. If you’re celebrating a special occasion or planning to pop the question, the cabin can even be decorated with flowers for that extra-special touch!
If you’re spending the day on Sentosa, head to Quayside Isle, a waterfront F&B destination where you can enjoy views of the marina while you dine. What an ideal way to wind down your day!
Time to check in
For a one-of-a-kind experience, check into one of Singapore’s unique boutique hotels, which are often located in interesting neighbourhoods and designed with special touches to stand out from the crowd.
Over at Tiong Bahru, Singapore’s most popular hipster neighbourhood, there’s Wangz Hotel, where you can rest your head. This is Singapore’s oldest housing estate and in recent years, its distinct Art Deco walk-up apartment blocks have been inhabited by cool cafes and interesting boutiques for you to explore. The Hotel offers spacious, well-designed rooms that reflect the Art Deco and Straits Settlement heritage of this area, for an authentic experience during your stay.
