Undergo COVID-19 PCR test
Visitors are required to undergo post-arrival COVID-19 PCR tests at a designated clinic by 1500 hours (Singapore time) on Day 3 and Day 7 of their stay in Singapore.
Date of tests and a list of designated clinics will be emailed to visitors upon their arrival in Singapore.
If their time of departure of from Singapore is:
• before 1500 hours on the day of test, they will be exempted from taking their PCR test. Any unutilised charge(s), excluding administrative fees, will be refunded by the clinics to the credit card used.
• on or after 1500 hours on the day of test, they are still required to take their PCR test. They do not need to wait for the test results before departing Singapore.
A visitor’s time of departure is defined as the scheduled time of departure of their flight or ferry, or the time they clear departure immigration, if they depart by land.
Visitors who fail to undergo the COVID-19 PCR tests on Day 3 and 7 shall be guilty of an offence under Section 16 of the Infectious Diseases Act (IDA) and may be liable upon conviction to a fine of up to $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both. The Vaccinated Travel Pass holder will be required to serve a Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at an SHN Dedicated Facility under the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 –Stay Orders) Regulations 2020, and pay for all charges related to his/her stay, as well as any additional COVID-19 tests required as part of the SHN regime.
Visitors are responsible for their medical bills should they require treatment for COVID-19 while in Singapore.
Please note that for visitors entering Singapore before 19 October 2021, the existing VTL requirements will continue to apply.
With effect from 19 October 2021, visitors are required to undergo on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test at Changi Airport and remain self-isolated until their result is confirmed to be negative.
Pre-register for on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test
