Known for being a shopping haven, Singapore boasts myriad malls and a burgeoning scene of local designers. Revitalise your wardrobe with some stylish new pieces—whether you’re looking for luxury threads or unconventional fashion pieces, you’re sure to find what you’re in search of.

The iconic shopping haven of Orchard Road

Make a pilgrimage to Orchard Road’s iconic mall, ION Orchard, where you can shop contemporary fashion brands such as Zara, TopShop, Mango, Ted Baker London and Armani Exchange.
If home-grown Singaporean brands are what you’re looking for, make your way to TANGS at Tang Plaza and Design Orchard. The department store carries apparel and accessories from local designers, such as Benjamin Barker—which stocks menswear for the discerning gent—and Elohim, a fashion label by award-winning local designer Sabrina Goh. The latter is a retail space and incubator for local designers, where visitors can peruse locally-made designs such as homeware and fashion.
Don’t miss Pedder on Scotts, where you’ll find a multitude of fashion choices. The store has seven retail zones (menswear, active wear, kidswear, and more) and carries brands such as Adidas, Alexander Wang, Herschel and Pedder Red.
If minimalism is your style, head to the UNIQLO flagship outlet at Orchard Central. The three-storey-high outlet is home to a dedicated UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) section, boasting the most popular UT designs from style icons around the world such as Pharrell Williams and Olympia Le-Tan.
Head to Mandarin Gallery and spot the signature hot pink of the Victoria’s Secret store. This 12,000-square-foot duplex store is the brand’s first flagship outlet in Southeast Asia. Treat yourself to lingerie, fragrances, and beauty products. Don’t forget to keep a lookout for exclusive pieces from Victoria Sport, their line of active wear.
Opt for indulgence with luxury brands
Step into the sprawling two-storey, 6,957-square-foot Michael Kors flagship store at Mandarin Gallery—the first flagship in Singapore and the brand’s largest store in Southeast Asia, as well as the only Michael Kors boutique in the region to offer its menswear line in addition to women’s apparel—and you’ll be greeted with immaculate décor and a collection of the brand’s ready-to-wear apparel, leather goods, and footwear.
Further down Orchard Road, you’ll find Malmaison by The Hour Glass. With plush settees set amidst warm lighting and antique rugs, you’ll feel perfectly comfortable as you take your pick of gentlemen’s apparel, luxury watches, fragrances and more.
Near Orchard Road, you’ll find hidden-away shopping and lifestyle haven Dempsey Hill. Look out for Dover Street Market Singapore, our very own edition of the Dover Street Market fashion retail store series (the brainchild of designer Rei Kawakubo of COMME des GARÇONS).
Then, head to the pinnacle of luxury shopping in Singapore, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands®. Visit the Louis Vuitton Island Maison store at Marina Bay Sands®, a nautical-inspired glass and crystal pavilion that’s a sight to behold.

Go for the unconventional

Take a break from the bustle of the city-shopping districts and check out unconventional retail options in these lifestyle enclaves.
Make your way to Tiong Bahru, a hip neighbourhood frequented by the artsy crowd—and for good reason. Here you’ll find a range of independent stores such as vinyl store Curated Records, quirky clothing store Nana & Bird, and art gallery DEGIOSART.
Swing by Kampong Gelam and explore Haji Lane, the place to be for vintage, indie finds from retailers. If you need to rest your legs, you can do so at one of the many bars, coffee joints and eateries available at neighbouring streets.
For a more local traditional experience, meander through the streets of Chinatown (specifically Pagoda Street and Temple Street) and you’ll find many small, local businesses—you can pick up heritage souvenirs such as Merlion-themed trinkets and Chinese calligraphy scrolls as well.
