Food&HotelAsia 2016 returns bigger than ever with new co-located events
Asia’s largest and most comprehensive international trade and networking event for the food and hospitality industry will be returning for its 20th edition to the Singapore Expo from 12 to 15 April 2016.
The biennial Food&HotelAsia (FHA) encompasses six specialised exhibitions namely FoodAsia, HotelAsia, SpecialtyCoffee&Tea, Bakery&Pastry, HospitalityStyle and HospitalityTechnology, each with their own unique themes and areas of focus that offer visitors myriad food and hospitality products from around the world.

New Content and Co-located Events
This year, the inaugural ProWine Asia 2016 debuts as a co-located event at FHA2016, bringing to Asia the best of ProWein Dusseldorf, one of the largest wine and spirits trade shows in the world based in Germany. Trade visitors can look forward to a dynamic line-up of international wines and spirits, accessories, and services, as well as an opportune platform to network and close fruitful collaborations with fellow industry players from across the world.
FHA2016 will also host a handful of prestigious culinary competitions including the prestigious Bocuse d’Or, known to many as the Culinary Olympics of the gastronomic world. Its Asian finals wil be staged in Singapore, and will see nine national teams battling for five spots at the grand finals of the Bocuse d'Or, to be held in Lyon in January 2017.
Other culinary competitions include the FHA Culinary Challenge 2016, the FHA Barista Challenge 2016, the FHA Latte Art Challenge 2016 and Asian Pastry Cup 2016.
FHA will also include a series of insightful conferences and workshops to discuss key issues affecting the food and hospitality industry. Attracting more than 500 delegates in four different conferences and six workshops, the FHA2016 International Conference will feature over 100 industry speakers who will be on hand to share their wealth of knowledge and experience.
To complement the international conference programme, five new workshops and two site visits have been introduced, ensuring an unparalleled learning environment for delegates.

Unparalleled networking and business opportunities in Asia
The last edition of FHA in 2014 garnered the attention of more than 65,000 trade attendees and played host to about 3,000 exhibitors from 65 countries and regions.
Attendees were full of praise for FHA2014. Mr Jean-Pierre Garnier, Head of Export Services, EBLEX commented, “There is not only a large quantity of visitors, but the quality of visitors is also great. We have met a lot of buyers and importers and we are very pleased with the turnout.”

FHA2016 is expected to attract an estimated 48,000 trade visitors from over 90 countries/regions and garner participation from more than 3,000 exhibitors from 70 countries/regions, presenting visitors with a great platform to discover new products, engage in fruitful interactions with business contacts, decision makers and influencers.
