As in any city, Singapore has a small number of establishments whose practices tarnish the good image of reputable establishments.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) takes a very serious view of all malpractices. Tourists can be assured that all complaints will be thoroughly investigated and necessary action will be taken against any establishment found to be conducting bad practices.

Complaints can be lodged with the STB by calling the Hotline at 1800-7362000 (toll-free in Singapore). If you wish to receive some form of redress within 24 hours (depending on the complexity of the claim), you can also lodge your complaint directly with the Small Claims Tribunals (SCT) at: . An administrative fee of SGD 10 is payable to the SCT.
