Singapore after dark is a city of contrasts - sizzling hot and relaxingly chilled out. Sundown is one of the most captivating and seductive times of this busy nation.

Enjoy a nice cold beer along the waterfront promenades of the Singapore River or sip a cocktail in the midst of historic buildings in the Civic District. Give in to the beckoning of Happy Hour, and enjoy great down-tempo music and live bands while you watch the world go by in the heart of bustling Orchard Road or the bohemian enclave that is Holland Village. Feel the sea breeze in your hair as you lounge by the beachside bars in Sentosa. Savour great wine with good company in the lush setting of Tanglin Village, or head on down to some of the world’s hippest clubs and bars, and gyrate to the sounds of street-cool hip-hop, soulful R&B, energetic dance music and pulsating techno beats.

In line with efforts to improve the nightlife experience for all, smoking is no longer allowed in all pubs, discos, karaoke bars and nightspots, unless within approved smoking rooms or other designated areas.
