Football fans rejoice, as Singapore becomes the first-ever Southeast Asian country to host a leg of the International Champions Cup (ICC) for the next four years.
The prestigious annual tournament features top-flight European football clubs facing off against one another in different venues around the world, with the likes of powerhouses such as Manchester United, Paris Saint-German and Real Madrid crowned as champions in previous seasons.
Clash of the Football Titans
This year, the Lion City is set to roar as German giants FC Bayern Munich, Premier League champions Chelsea FC and Italian legend FC Internazionale Milano battle it out at the Singapore National Stadium in a round-robin, three-match tournament on 25, 27 and 29 July 2017.
Aside from the electrifying pitch action, fans can also look forward to an exciting line-up of money-can’t-buy experiences to kick off the inaugural world-class tournament. Want to catch your favourite footballers up close? You could just be one of the lucky few to win exclusive tickets to an official training session, as well as an intimate meet-and-greet.
