12pm: Ride a pony at Gallop Stable

There are 20-minute pony joy rides and camps where the young ’uns can get acquainted with the various horse breeds.For the adults, enjoy a leisurely 60-minute trot on the trail along the Fairways Green Track or the Fairways Sand Ring

2pm: Lunch at Spruce @ Old Fire Station

Housed in what was formerly a fire station, Spruce is an airy, laid-back eatery that serves up classic Italian and American fare. Choose from the savoury tenderloin steak frites, fragrant mushroom risotto and, if you want a tapas platter to share, the juicy Kurobuta meatballs. 3.30pm: Trek at Green Corridor

After indulging in a satisfying meal, walk it off by trekking the Green Corridor (or at least a portion of it anyway). This 26-kilometre-long trail that stretches from north to south of Singapore used to be the railway line that connected Malaysia to Singapore. Enter via Rifle Range Road to glimpse the historical railway bridge at the Upper Bukit Timah sector. It’s the picture-perfect site for you to capture some memorable vacation shots. 

7pm: Dinner at Dulukala Peranakan Restaurant @ Beauty World Centre

Worked up an appetite with all that walking? Make your way to Beauty World Centre for a Peranakan (Straits Chinese or Malay) feast at Dulukala Peranakan Restaurant. This family-run restaurant specialises in wallet-friendly, traditional home-cooked Peranakan creations such as beef rendang (spicy rich dry beef stew), babi pongteh (Nyonya-style stewed pork with fermented soy bean) and itek tim (soup with duck and pickled mustard).

Another delicious option is Al-Azhar Eating Restaurant, which is situated across Beauty World Centre.
