Light up the night

The Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) has celebrated ten sizzling years in Singapore. Race fans, party people, foodies, cultural connoisseurs and shopaholics alike descend upon the city every September to witness the rubber-burning tarmac action and experience the sights and sounds in and around the race. If the last decade is anything to go by, visitors can look forward to the city coming alive for a good time for many more years to come.

Amid the screeching and screaming of the FORMULA 1 supercars, world-renowned musicians take to the stage for three nights of revelry, against a backdrop of pyrotechnics and laser light shows.

Never just about the race alone, GPSS brings out the best of Singapore’s vibrant lifestyle experiences every year – the parties are bigger, the restaurants serve special menus and the city’s countless attractions and retail stores offer innumerable promotions and special campaigns in line with the night race – promising a wealth of experiences beyond the race.

Visitors can also have a taste of the many cultures that call Singapore home. From traditional snacks and souvenirs in Chinatown, to the historic monuments and art instutitions in Bras Basah.Bugis, to the colourful Peranakan shophouses and trendy eateries in Katong Joo Chiat, culture lovers are spoilt for choice.

It was announced in 2017 that Singapore will be hosting the night race for another four years. For fans who don’t wish to miss out on this annual spectacle, organisers offer ‘super early bird’ tickets that let buyers save up to 33 percent. Purchase your tickets here.
